The Sustainable Agri-food Systems Transformation Initiative (FSA) is a partnership between the European Union, FAO and CIRAD, in cooperation with national and food systems stakeholders that initiated a large-scale assessment and consultations in more than fifty countries, as a first step to transform food system. The methodology applies a systemic approach and is centered around key questions related to the sustainability of the system. The aim is to understand the interactions between sectors and players and identify the needed policies and investments for future change.
