Blue Peter chimes through Lancashire on the Cumbrian Mountaineer, 12/02/26

Whilst I had bigger plans for today they unfortunately didn't work out. We see it first at Crewe getting ready for the inbound leg from London to arrive. Then over to Preston with ‪@crunchynutsteamfilms5043‬ and an alright pass with a long warning whistle. My next shot was planned to be Meal Bank in which I should have had more time than I did to get to due to a train delay. In the end I was just quick enough to see the steam rise over the trees, a massive disappointment. After a few hours it was time to see the return through Penrith. This was a pretty decent fast pass with Blue Peter rushing to keep its tight timings over the top of Shap. Was also good to see ‪@WestCountrySteamVideos‬ here. We see it finally at Leyland and get bowled, a perfect end to a day of bad luck. Thank you for watching, Luke
