Welcome to NUTRIFEEDS, a Horizon Europe research and innovation project working to transform the future of livestock nutrition in Europe. Our mission is to develop science-based feed solutions that reduce environmental impact, strengthen Europe’s protein autonomy, and support more resilient and climate-responsible farming systems. Through three complementary Innovation Pilots, NUTRIFEEDS bridges research and real-world implementation: 🔬 Insect Upcycling Pilot Converting agri-food side-streams into high-value protein using Black Soldier Fly larvae. 🧪 Targeted Fermentation Pilot Enhancing the nutritional and functional quality of feed ingredients through advanced microbial processes. 🌿 Regenerative Farm & Silvopasture Pilot Testing innovative feed formulations in real farming environments to assess animal performance, environmental sustainability, and economic feasibility.
