Where is the Animal Rights Movement Heading?

WHEN: Monday, 17 May 6pm British/Irish Time. Many advocates are understandably feeling frustrated with the Animal Rights/Liberation movement. In this show the team will be exploring where the movement is heading, asking questions such as: -Is the muddle we see within our movement simply the nature of social movements? -Is the constant infighting between those with different perspectives inevitable? -Have we become too introspective, especially during the lockdown which has placed restrictions on our activism? -How do we overcome the divisions and toxicity to build personal resilience and a stronger movement? -Does the shift to more prolific social media activism keep us within a vegan bubble and advocating within an echo chamber? -Do we have clear goals, and where should we focus our time, energy and financial resources to push the movement forward? We would love to hear your perspectives and value your input so please join us and share your views.
