On our 2nd day at the Coorg trails, we looked around exploring the parts near Shanivarasanthe, Somwarpet and then ride towards home. Herur Hills / Gavibetta was on our way and Shishir looked it up for us to explore on the 2nd day. Since we were approaching the hill from the Surlabbi side, we thought of extending the trails to reach the hill and put a satellite map to reach the place. It was adventurous and as well as impossible at some of the stretches. And this place Gavi betta took our breath away. The place is famous for its temple inside the cave. Hence the name Gavibetta. it also goes by the name Herur Hills.
