Hey everyone! Welcome back to our Italy series. For Episode 3 we will be taking you back to the island of Capri to show you how to spend a day exploring the Anacapri side of Italy's most expensive island. We started the day by catching the 8:45 ferry from Sorrento port to Capri. Once there we headed to the bus terminal to pick up bus tickets to Anacapri. The bus takes 15 minutes to arrive at Piazza Vittoria where the bottom of the Monte Solaro chairlift is located. We got there nice and early and still queued for 20 minutes before taking the chairlift to the top. At the top of Monte Solaro there is a restaurant that serves a range of food and snacks along with refreshing drinks while you take in the view. We stopped for a drink before exploring more of Anacapri. You can walk back down if you want the exercise but we opted for the more leisurely trip back down on the chairlift. The views are even better on the way down with views of Anacapri and the West Coast of the island. We then enjoyed the Piazza Vittoria which has a number of shops selling Italian made clothing from leather sandals to summer outfits. There are also a number of restaurants, we opted for Blue Lizzard for a glass of orange juice and some chips. From the Piazza Vittoria we caught the bus back to the port to enjoy a gelato before catching our ferry back to Sorrento. We truly love this island and could happily take a week exploring all its hidden gems and lookouts. We definitely would recommend visiting if you have the chance. Let us know what you think! .
