Welcome to what steam Locomotive drivers called "The rat holes". Two disused railway tunnels sit side by side at Kelmarsh, Northamptonshire. There is another pair just 2 miles north at Oxendon but that's a story for another day. Wednesday 3rd January Steven Cook from Down the line (Y.T) walked through the tunnel with my new light and GoPro10. Both pairs of tunnels belong to what was the L&NWR Northampton to Stamford via Market Harborough line. The railway track-bed now forms The Brampton Valley Way.
