welcome to part 2 of my solo korea diaries!! this was honestly one of my FAVOURITE parts of the trip. feels kinda surreal, I actually made new friends in Korea, had ramyeon by the Han river, went to their vintage luxury store in Apgujeong, tried on blackpink JENNIE's top, took photos at a photobooth, had michelin thai food, partied at a noraebang and had third and fourth rounds at a underground vinyl bar and pocha. I thought a solo trip meant that I had to be alone, I expected to be alone and going into it I was very wary of talking to new people. but this trip made me realise that part of the beauty of travelling alone is - meeting people from all over the world, who have different backgrounds, diff perspectives, diff jobs and it’s so cool that we can all just come tgt and be friends. also, I love hongdae. the vibe there is just amazing and I love how it just makes you feel alive. and if you want to thrift, go to Dongmyo flea market, they have loads of clothes and styles for very affordable prices!
