Here is a very non-scientific test I did to check my latitude on potential using the Nero 1.5x Anamorphic Adapter from Blazar with my set of Takumar lenses. I tested it on focal lengths of 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 55mm, 85mm, 105mm, and 135mm (I skipped the 20mm and 24mm because both the vignetting and barrel distortion would be too severe for any hope of being useable - I skipped the 50mm 1:1 Macro... for now - the idea of shooting anamorphic macro intrigues me, but that's for another time). I did this solely to test the vignetting and what I would need to crop for on each when shooting at 6K resolution. Surprisingly only the 28mm required me to crop into the sensor at 4K to clear all vignetting (which it did). The 35mm required a 2.39:1 crop at 6K to completely clear vignetting. The rest did not vignette at all (however, I'm not sure I would deem the 105mm and 135mm very useable given they are incredibly soft - at least my set - and the CA kicks up a bit... but never say never depending on the project. It's all shot Super 35 at 6K 17:9 and de-squeezed in post.
