Hello, and welcome to 76vette! If you’re new here, I’m glad you stopped by. 76vette on YouTube chronicles the story and journey of my 1976 Corvette Stingray, which I’ve owned for ten-plus years (as of 2025). My car isn’t 100% original—and that’s by design. A vehicle should fit the owner, not the other way around. While some of the mods I’ve made are mild compared to other C3s, that’s perfectly okay. Different strokes for different folks. I may not agree with every modification, paint scheme, wheel choice, or whatever else other C3 owners do to their cars—but the key word in that sentence is their. I celebrate all of them, because they’re being used and enjoyed by their caretakers. I bought my first Vette—a ’68—when I was 19 years old. That was over 40 years ago. Where did the time go? Since then, I’ve owned seven C3s at one point or another. Most of them I’ve loved. A couple… not so much. Anyway, this channel lets me share maintenance and repair tips, along with other C3-related videos—car shows, Cars & Coffee events, other C3s, and more. So 76vette isn’t just about my Corvette. I’m not a videographer or a mechanic. Just a guy in his garage, wrenching on his favorite vehicle and trying to make it one of the cleanest C3 Corvettes on earth.
