LOUD Loganair DHC6 Twin-Otter G-SGTS Glasgow to Tiree

I recently flew with Loganair onboard their De Havilland Twin-Otter on one of their essential flight to the beautiful island of Tiree located 103 miles from Glasgow. My flight was on their Viking DHC-6-400 Twin Otter G-SGTS which was newly delivered to the airline back on the 21st of May 2015. The flight was roughly 1 hour each way and cruised at an altitude of 8,000ft. Initially, the weather departing Glasgow was beautiful & sunny, however, as we continued toward Tiree low cloud and drizzle began to obscure the otherwise great flight. I must say the aircraft was 10x louder than I expected, and I was so pleased to have packed a pair of travel earplugs which I always have in my bag.
