Prior to ripping, the record is dry-cleaned with a microfiber cloth to remove surface dust. Record is then played through and recorded with Adobe Audition, capturing through my Focusrite interface, in uncompressed .wav (24bit 96khz). Both video and audio is then transferred to my PC, where I edit them together as well as add graphics using Vegas Pro. The audio remains completely unaltered here apart from being peak-normalized to reach an optimal level. The video is then rendered at 4K with a compressed stream of audio. Before uploading, the resulting rendered video is muxed together with an uncompressed .wav (24bit 96khz) of the video's audio using MKVToolNix, resulting in completely unharmed, uncompressed audio prior to being uploaded to YouTube.
