https://sirdar.com/en/products/ginger... Above is the link to the Sirdar website where you can find the pattern for this Gingerbread CAL. I have totally loved doing this blanket and I am so happy that I was able to complete it before giving birth! Before starting this blanket, I was very nervous about a lot of the techniques used in pattern but I was keen to give it a try and test my skills, and I am so glad that I did it. The videos were so clear and made it very easy to follow along. I was able to do the most of the blanket without even looking at the pattern because of how clear the videos were. I learned so many techniques and new skills while doing this blanket and am very excited to do another blanket or CAL. I would consider myself a beginner in crochet so this was a very good way of learning new techniques and skills that I would perhaps try and avoid usually from being to nervous. If anyone watching this is a beginner too and is thinking this might be too difficult, please please watch some of the sirdar videos on their YouTube and practice some of the stitches using some scrap yarn. I think you will be surprised at what your capable of because I certainly surprised myself! :) There were a few occasions where I made a mistake or kept making a mistake and I had to undo rows and redo them, but I dont mind doing this though as its the best way to learn. Sometimes I just needed to be a little patient with this blanket, and it was worth it in the end. I am really happy with how it turned out and will be looking after this blanket to bring out every Christmas. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments and if you have done this CAL, how did you get on? What was your favourite part of the blanket to do? Thank you for watching and I hope that you enjoyed!
