Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” This is not the first time God is telling Joshua to be strong and courageous. It is the third time in a few verses. In verse 6, be strong and of a good courage. Verse 7, ONLY be strong and of a good courage. In verse 8, He is telling him where to draw his strength and courage.
