Amphibians are some of the strangest animals on this planet, and they skills and abilities that are hard to comprehend. They are able to absorb toxins and become toxic themselves, and they can even regrow lost limbs and parts of their brains. Unfortunately many amphibians are in real peril today, as they are the most threatened class of vertebrates, with nearly 41% of all amphibians species threatened with extinction. The reason behind this dramatic loss of amphibians is mostly human related, but they are also suffering from diseases and parasitic fungus. It's important that we admire the species that we still have, and hopefully in the near future experts will find a way to battle the threats that the world's amphibians are facing, and we won't have to worry about them disappearing for good. In today's video I'll be focusing on some of the weirdest and most distinctive amphibians in the world, as I'll be ranking each of the 7 continents by their largest amphibian.
