2.7 Silverado gains 50hp with Livernois Motorsports, Does it beat Ford's 2.7?

For those not in the know, in 2019/2020 GM released what is called "Global B" architecture. This has some dizzying layers of complexity and anti-tampering security to prevent us, and others like us, from giving the people what they want. More power and better performance, with enhanced driving features that the OEM holds back. Utilizing HP Tuner's Unlock process, we started with what we fel was most aligned with what we do. The 2.7 TurboMax. After all, small displacement, direct injected, turbocharged builds are nothing new to us, but we wanted to see what we could do. After driving one, it was respectable, but after about 50MPH, it was game over, and the fun quickly turned to mediocrity. Something we knew we had to step in and fix! After the changes we performed to the calibration, we were pleased to see peak gains of over 50hp, enough to give the GM a fighting chance against a 2.7 Ford. We plan on continuing to seek power and performance from these, and have even added a new Coloardo ZR2 to the fleet to compliment the Silverado.
