REL Northeast & Islands (REL-NEI) supported a cross-organizational group to develop a plan for evaluating an intensive professional learning initiative focused on improving inclusive settings for students with disabilities. The group included staff from Connecticut State Department of Education, Regional Education Service Center, and State Education Resource Center (SERC). The materials developed by REL-NEI for this group were compiled into the “Evaluating Professional Learning: A Tool for Schools and Districts” resource. In this video, representatives from the Capitol Region Education Council and SERC discuss the impact of the evaluation planning process and share challenges, opportunities and benefits from engaging in such initiatives.
