Walking the Newry Canal Way Part 2 : Poyntzpass to Victoria Lock, Newry, N. Ireland

This was a long walk! Again, I was joined by Sarah, and we completed the Newry Canal Way plus the Greenway from Newry to Victoria Lock. Re-starting at Poyntzpass, we followed the canal all the way to Newry, with a brief detour for the Canal Wood Boardwalk. In Newry, the path ends but it was very easy to follow the canal on public pavements past the shopping centre and hotels. Next we took the Greenway and followed a very good path all the way to Victoria Lock. 22km walk but good weather conditions and good chat and banter all the way!
