Greetings from the OTTOBRE design® editorial office! Children’s daily wear clothes are mostly made of stretchy, easy-care jerseys. Non-stretch woven fabrics have nevertheless traditionally been used for summer clothes and special-occasion apparel. However, there’s no need to compromise on comfort with non-stretch clothes as they can be light, airy, soft and functional –as you can see in our latest issue. We divided our summer collection to four different themes. As travelling wasn’t possible yet, we used our imagination. FLOWER FIELDS AND BLUE SKY - Let’s play! From flower meadows to summer parties. Two pairs of cropped pants with shoulder straps, a safari shirt and a raglan T-shirt. A jersey dress and tunic, and poplin pants. A sleeveless summer dress, a double gauze top and linen culottes. Sizes 86–122 cm CITY TOUR - Special occasion clothing Celebrating around Europe. A short-sleeve shirt and linen Bermudas. Two lovely voile dresses, a pretty poplin dress and a brim hat. A linen jacket with coordinating pants, a short-sleeve crinkled-cotton shirt and a raglan T-shirt. Sizes 86–122 | 92–128 | 116–158 | 104–148 | 128–170 cm TINY ADVENTURES - Close to home Babies’ adventures take place close-by. An adorable special-occasion dress and matching bloomers from cotton batiste, and a drop-seat playsuit and a cap from linen fabric. A bodysuit dress, a tunic, cropped pants and a playsuit, all sewn from single jersey. A sweatshirt romper, a long-sleeve T-shirt and a jersey playsuit with a collar. Sizes 62–92 | 74–104 cm NORDIC TREKKING - An imaginary journey in stunning northern scenery Hiking in the north. A denim dress and shirt, a double gauze top and poplin Bermudas. A jersey dress and a poplin brim hat. A raglan T-shirt, tank tops and three pairs of Bermudas. A fabulous poplin jumpsuit.
