Mauro explains, "We are ready to start working with our clients in decarbonization refurbishments for their plants." He is clear on the future for oil & gas. "Unfortunately, fossil fuels will have to stick around," he said. "What we need to do is improve the process so using them is not as contaminating as it is right now." Mauro elaborates on the challenges ahead, noting, "There’s a clock ticking to get to 2050. At a certain point, there's going to be more need for materials and services than what's probably available in the market." He explains that this includes the resources and logistics support required to refurbish refineries and reduce emissions. "Living on Mars is not an option. We only have this planet, and we must protect it."
