I'm having treatment for hormone positive breast cancer. I can't sleep. Thought I'd talk to you instead and ramble about my current reality. So often, the content that we see is polished, professional and performative. I thought why not interject a little reality (not of the Kardashian Jenner kind!) to the internet. HEADLINE - I started new medication today - exemestane. It comes with a bunch of side effects, one of which is insomnia. I was having trouble sleeping anyway but seems acute tonight. Thought I'd share for anyone going through this, who might go through this and of the friends and family who are often on the outside looking in.
