Welcome to Episode 8 of my DUTCH BROS LIKE KAT SERIES! In this series, we're recreating all the Dutch Bros menu drinks so you can make them yourself home, save your money, and learn how to be a bomb diggity barista homie! Episode 8: BANANA BREAD BREVE Ingredients: -1/2 tablespoon Torani Hazelnut Syrup -1/4-1/2 tablespoon Torani Creme de Banana Syrup -3-4 shots of espresso (I used 2 Nespresso double espresso pods) -6-8 ounces half and half -Ice Brew your espresso shots into a cup, and add in your two syrup flavors. Add in the half and half to cool down the mixture before adding in the ice. Stir with a spoon or straw until the breve is cold to the touch from top to bottom, and enjoy! For a hot version, you just need steamed half and half instead of cold, and then don't add ice. To steam the half and half, add the syrups and half and half to a cup and then warm it up in the microwave for 60 seconds. Once warm (not boiling) froth with a handheld milk frother until thick, bubbly and foamy. The mixture should double or triple in volume. You could also use a steam wand on an espresso machine if you have one. Pour the warmed/steamed half and half over your espresso shots, and enjoy!
