Psychiatric Treatment at Skyland Trail

Skyland Trail is a nationally recognized nonprofit residential mental health treatment organization based in Atlanta for teens ages 14-17 and adults ages 18 and up with a primary psychiatric diagnosis. The adult program treats adults ages 18 and older with a primary diagnosis of major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, or schizophrenia. Many clients have co-occurring diagnoses including borderline personality disorder, substance use disorder, or PTSD. Specialized programs include dual diagnosis, CBT, DBT, and first episode psychosis. The adolescent program treats teens ages 14 to 17 with depression or anxiety and includes academic support and family programming. Specialized programming helps teens with co-occurring mild to moderate substance use, emerging borderline personality disorder traits, and/or a history of trauma. Clients benefit from expert, evidence-based care with a whole person approach to wellness. All clients reside in private rooms with private bathrooms.
