The 2025/26 winter steelhead season starts here. In this first video of our steelhead series, we take you along for Day One of Trip One from mid-November — the same trip we talked about in Season One of the Steelhead Alley Podcast. What was supposed to be a Friday arrival turned into an early Thursday push north as we chased a few extra hours on the water. Instead of perfect water, we were greeted with higher flows, off-color conditions, and a lot of decisions to make right out of the gate. No hero shots, no shortcuts — just real steelhead fishing, real decisions, and the start of the winter steelhead season. This is where the season begins. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
