Indian security forces have launched a massive operation to hunt down terrorists in Basantgarh of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir. The operation was launched after a patrolling party of police and the Village Defence Guard confronted the terrorists. A member of the VDG was killed after terrorists opened fire at the patrolling party.
