X10 Appliance and Lamp Module Low Wattage Modification

This video shows how to modify the X10 (Radio Shack Plug 'n Play) Appliance and Lamp Modules for low wattage systems like LED and compact florescent (CFL) bulbs. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aL-... This disables the local control function of your module. This means the switch on your lamp or other device that is plugged into your X10 module will no longer work when it is plugged into the X10 module. You have to use the X10 remote to turn it on. Makes LED and CFL bulbs turn off all the way without being on in a dim state or flickering. Gets rid of the 0.8 Watt continual power drain. After this modification, the power usage according to my Kill-A-Watt electric power usage meter was 0.0 Watts. Note that I said ".08 Watts" at first in the video, but meant "0.8 Watts".
