They are incomprehensible to human beings, and dwarf the gods of ancient polytheistic religions. I'm not a spiritual person myself, but my fascination with them is a direct result of the severely broken world we live in today, and I feel a great sense of comfort in the idea that our entire universe could be the size of a marble to much greater beings.
