'We do not need help': Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek on Trump's Portland announcement to send troops

Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek spoke in Portland Saturday morning following President Donald Trump's announcement on Truth Social that he would be deploying troops to the city. Kotek, surrounded by other city and state leaders, said that Oregon and the City of Portland do not need any federal troops coming in. Kotek said they have lawful protests in Portland there is no need for federal aid. The president said on Truth Social he would authorize "full force" to help "war-ravaged Portland." The order comes after protests happening outside a Portland ICE facility. There have been on and off protests happening since June.
