A fourth demo, this time of my Warwick FNA Corvette! As always, it's being run into a modelled Gallien Krueger rb800. This bass is interesting, as it often gets confused with the FNA Jazzman model that Warwick also produces. It used to be one of the standard models in the '90s before getting discontinued. The name brings discussion with it, as it was originally going to be named 'Altus', as per the result of a naming contest. However, the Altus name was taken by another company, who threatened to sue Warwick if they went though with the name. Therefore, Warwick decided to change the name to the FNA. There is still discussion as to what the name means, but the most reasonable explanation being 'Formerly Named Altus' (with the runner up being 'Fucking Not Altus'). It also gets interesting when it comes to the type of preamp this bass has. Sometime during the production run they swapped from a Seymour Duncan made preamp to the standard Warwick preamp that the other basses had. Fortunately I got my hands on one that has the SD made one.
