These two hands are metaphors for the two branches of the Kingdom government of the creator YHWH. The left hand was/is the ministers(Levites, Apostles) taking care of the needy both domestically and foreign aid, with the prime directive of caring for widows and orphans, those without a natural family to help them. The right hands were the heads of families.
