First of all I want to apologize for not having this out on July 1st like I mentioned on the Spauldingfield facebook page (by the way if you aren't a fan of it be sure to become one because you get clues to the next videos before they come out). The storms in my area took out my internet for a couple of days, but luckily it's back. I'm proud to show you this video of a character that was a member of one of the few prominent African-American families in town. Gilly has a fun story of how someone starts out in a low position and fights to get to the top. Gilly's loyalty to her brother David is something hurt her, but also showed her to be a strong individual. Towards the end Gilly's goal to own WSPR faded when she became smittened by Griffin Williams who ended up being her father. Needless to say Gilly had a difficult love life, but she was one heck of a news reporter. Gilly was played by the remarkable Amelia Marshall. She gave Gilly such depth and vulnerability. I would have loved to seen Gilly before the show off the air. What's your favorite Gilly story and who did you like Gilly with the most?
