Type the following in consecutive order SFC /scannow DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth 3. Restart your computer 4. If Windows Update is still not working, open command prompt again as an Administrator and type the following in consecutive order: SC config bits start=auto SC config cryptsvc start=auto SC config trustedinstaller start=auto Windows Memory Diagnostic gpupdate /force 5.
