Cuphead- How to Beat Cagney Carnation (Flower Boss) Floral Fury

Cagney Carnation is the flower boss of the level titled Floral Fury. In this video I will show you how to beat the boss quick and easy. He is one of the bosses that can be encountered in Inkwell Isle One. Cagney is sneaky. He seems to delight in catching his enemies off guard with his appearance, posing as a harmless and adorable flower before roaring loudly and showing his true colors. His constant maniacal smile during battle also implies that he's either too overconfident about winning or he enjoys the fight more than he should, considering that his soul and life are on the line. The attacks in phase 1: Face lunge: Cagney will ball his face into his petals and then shoot his head forward. If he is standing tall, this attack will Go over the tops of the platforms. If he is crouched, this attack will cover the whole bottom of the stage. Watch where he’s about to strike and either jump up to the platforms or get onto the ground. Note that it will be important to clear out the seeds quickly so you have room to maneuver around this attack. Seeder crank: Cagney’s face will turn into a seed dispenser and he will begin fling seeds into the air. The seeds will then rain down and plant in the dirt. Out of these seeds will grow little enemies. Shoot them to make them go away in one hit. The easiest way to do this is to watch where the first seed lands and take them out in order as quickly as possible. Focus on the seeds before the boss. Seed missiles: Cagney will clamp his leaves together and spawn some seed missiles. After a short period the seeds will hone in on your last known location. Do your best to doge and also be looking out for the next attack. and seed boomerang: Cagney will clamp his leaves together and spawn a boomerang. This will fire slowly across the top of the platforms and then come back to Cagney across the bottom of the stage. Phase 2: Platform stab: Cagney will grow some spiky plants on the bottom of one or two platforms. You have a brief window to jump to a platform that does not have roots below it. Once the time is up the plants will grow up and over the platforms. During this phase you are not able to land on the ground at all. Pollen shot: Cagney will spit pollen at you to trip you up.
