I just purchased my first canoe and decided on a PakCanoe to take with me to Alaska. This video is of the first assembly of the canoe. In the other videos and blogs I researched before buying it, they said it can be assembled in 45 minutes to one hour. This first assembly took me 2 hours, and I did not get the seats on correctly. That will have to happen at the next set up. I think a lot of the pieces will fit together better as it gets used and broken in. I was very glad to have the help of my dad in setting this up because he is stronger than me. Overall, it's a great boat and can't wait to get it out in the Alaska waters! P.S. Don't worry...
