Festival highlights include private lessons, masterclasses, and faculty recitals with principal players and other members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, solo performance and competition opportunities, orchestra and chamber music studies, off campus outings to Philadelphia Orchestra concerts at the Mann Music Center, and more. There are seven program options at PIMF: Symphony Orchestra, Solo Performance Preparation, Piano Studies, Chamber Music Intensive, Children's Symphony, Music Theatre & Opera, College Audition Preparation, and Music House International (a program for college students and young professionals).
