Today we’re highlighting not one, but two rums from India. Compared to other Indian rums, both are made with fairly unique ingredients, jaggery and cane juice. The first is Bella from Amrut Distilleries in Bangalore (Bengaluru). It’s made from jaggery, a form of solidified, unrefined sugar that’s used in Indian cooking. The second is the Camikara 12 Year from Piccadily Distilleries. This one is made from locally sourced cane juice, aged 12 years and bottled at 50% abv.
