Football Manager (Commodore 64) - 1984 - Longplay 8 seasons

You start in an invented English 4th league with 16 teams and play a simple series lasting 15 match days without a second half of the season. FA Cup matches are also included. This way you can work your way up into the next higher league, up to the 1st. The match highlights are displayed in animated graphics. The home team always plays from left to right and you play in the colours of your team. Managing is limited to the purchase and sale of players and choosing their lineup. The game spawned several sequels, starting with Football Manager 2 in 1988, followed by Football Manager World Cup Edition in 1990, and finally Football Manager 3 in 1992.
