How To Replace a Leaking A/C Condenser Core (Lincoln mkS / Ford Taurus)

Air conditioning condenser core not working? Learn how to properly replace your air conditioning condenser core so you can get cold air this summer! I show you how to replace a condenser core in a Lincoln mkS but the process is similar for any car or truck. This works for a condenser core that is cracked or super dirty which are common causes for why you are not getting cold air because the condenser core is bad. The condenser is responsible for releasing the heat from the refrigerant into the ambient air. Over time, grime, bugs and other small particles can build up on its surface and in the gaps of its mesh. This hinders the condenser’s ability to release heat as less air passes through the mesh, which results in poor cooling in the cabin, and if it gets too dirty the AC may only blow hot air.
