2025 Laureate, Guy Langevin, Remarks - JA's Maine Business Hall of Fame

Guy Langevin is currently an Executive Advisor to Dead River Company. Prior to this he was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources & Chief Administrative Officer. Guy is a longtime champion of Maine’s workforce and economic development efforts. He began serving on the Board of Directors for Maine & Company in 2013 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2018 to 2023. Guy has demonstrated a special ability to work with anyone for the good of Maine as demonstrated by his appointment to serve on the State Workforce Development Board in 2017 by Republican Governor Paul LePage and appointed in 2019 to serve as Chairman of the Board by Democratic Governor Janet Mills. Guy is a very passionate supporter of Junior Achievement. He served on the Board of Junior Achievement of Maine for 14 years and served as Board Chair from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, Guy was nationally recognized by Junior Achievement USA with the Gold Leadership Award for expanding student impact in Maine.
