The grab driver can’t drop you off in front of the public ferry terminal. They will drop you off about a 7 minute walk away at the Tourist Ferry terminal. The ferry is priced higher for tourist ($25 USD pp). It was a nice ferry ride they played a video on practical jokes which we found funny. Your ride is indoors and has WiFi. Small area out back but it’s loud. You can watch the scenery as you cruise along for two hours- passing boats, housing, industrial, forestry. If you are just taking a day trip you only have about 3 hours for the return boat. We decide to see one of the largest Christian statues in Asia. The Jesus statue up 811 steps. Then we walked Back Beach. The government has built a nice promenade at Back Beach and are trying to keep the beaches clean. The day we were there a lot of trash had washed ashore. One street back from the beach has a lot of commerce. If we had more time we would have had lunch there. We ate at restaurant next to port and the food was good.
