The Root, The Root, The Root is On Fire!

As an abuse survivor I know how difficult it is to be in the frequency of the horrors being revealed all around us this week. Even if you put yourself in a bubble, turn off the news and the socials, listen solely to the soundtrack of The Little Mermaid or Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits, the energy is still palpable all around us. I can remember thinking back in the QAnon days, "Who would ever even begin to believe that Hilary Clinton is running a pedophilia ring out of a pizza place? Why would they even bother to make up something so ridiculous?" Then today: Oh. Because the accusers were actually doing it. They were actually doing it. Right. I kept thinking, "Why do they keep saying Democrats are killing babies? What does that even mean?" Oh. Oh my god. Is this true? What IS the truth? So much of the discomfort we are feeling right now starts at our root chakra, Malkhut, Shekhinah, the sacrament of Baptism. We are all deeply uncomfortable because we are either willingly aligned with a toxic tribe or rejecting our toxic tribe and not sure of how to be or who to be in the world. The energy of Shekhinah asks us to remember our true power, our divinity deep within ourselves, to cease feeding the fear that causes our inner garden, our inner power to wilt, and to nourish the remembrance of our magic, of our oneness, so that we might continue to bloom in the power of unity and love despite all that's happening around us right now.
