Algo Rhythm - Stays the Same

so ... I came up with the group name Algo Rhythm. I reached out to "Creative Partners" again to see if they wanted to do something. I let them hear "Stays the Same". From memory, I had the drums, bass line, pads (yes, the same string patch) and lead synth melody. I also had the lyrics and rap. As we were going to produce it together we decided to split the record 1/3. Now here is where my memory goes a little hazy. I called Debbie to see if she wanted to sing on the record. She came to Gatineau and we headed to Marc's studio to record vocals. Debbie sang the girl part and I laid down the ghost "rap" vocal as I heard it in my head. For some reason it was released with my voice on it. I never wanted to be a rapper, as I never liked my voice. It was a one take sort of thing.
