Well, this is a more sad song (read lyrics in video or see description below) George Strait is in USA a very famous Country Singer and this song is , I would say, a very rare song from him and not so popular (?) I fell in love with this song when I heard it many years ago . I could not find any backing track....so I tried to play ALL instrumentals by myself. And I played in "my style" ;-)) Next song and video will be more funny (hope so ;-)) George Harvey Strait Sr. (born May 18, 1952) is an American country music singer, actor, and music producer. Strait is referred to as the "King of Country," and critics call Strait a living legend. He is known for his unique style of western swing music, bar-room ballads, honky-tonk style, and fresh yet traditional Country music. George Strait holds the world record for more number-one hit singles than any other artist in the history of music on any chart or in any genre, having recorded 59 number-one hit singles as of 2012. “You Haven’t Left Me Yet” by George Strait, from his 1998 album One Step at a Time, is a quiet, reflective gem that explores the lingering emotional presence of a lost love. Unlike some of Strait’s more chart-driven singles, this track is a soft-spoken ballad, filled with subtle melancholy and heartfelt introspection. It captures the emotional limbo between moving on and still being haunted by someone who is no longer physically present, but emotionally ever-close. Lyrically, the song is about a man who’s trying to go about his life—going through the motions, waking up, drinking coffee, facing the day—but he can’t shake the memory of the one who’s gone. “You haven’t left me yet,” he confesses—not out of denial, but because her presence lingers in everything: in his thoughts, his routines, even his dreams. It’s a song about emotional inertia, about being held by memory even when you’re trying to move forward.
