He is the fourth children of Telugu Veteran Actor Superstar G.Krishna, Mahesh was the son of Krishna’s first wife Indira. During her Interview with The Times Of India, Namrata said that Mahesh Babu likes calling the shots at home and added that he used to ‘lay the rules even’ when they were dating. She also revealed that he had very clearly told her not to refrain from talking about their Relationship till he found stability in his career. After their four years relationship, Mahesh and Namrata decided to get married, and Mahesh sister Manjula convinced her father Krishna in favour of their decision. Namrata and Mahesh Babu married on 10 February 2005 at the Marriott Hotel, Mumbai during the shooting of Athadu movie. Mahesh and Namrata had 2 Children, Son Gautham Krishna and Daughter Sitara. Gautam born on 31 August 2006 at the Global Hospital in Hyderabad and Sitara was born on 20 July 2012. Before Sitara’s delivery they preserved her stem cells using stem cell banking to ensure a better immunity level. Namrata talking about her decision to stop doing films post-marriage, She said that she had no choice as Mahesh Babu had made it clear that he did not want a ‘working wife’.
