Asaduddin Owaisi has revealed that his party has reached out to the RJD for an alliance in Bihar for the forthcoming election, with the aim of defeating the BJP. He stated that his state president, Akhtarul Iman, has written to Lalu Prasad Yadav. However, Owaisi strongly criticised the opposition for what he termed its hypocrisy. He questioned how the India Alliance could call events in Maharashtra a 'murder of democracy' when they themselves took four of his party's MLAs in Bihar. 'Then why did you take over my 4 MLAs? What was that? A Gandhian act, is it?' Owaisi asked.
