Genital warts are a dermatologic manifestation of a sexually transmitted infection, caused by the epidermotropic human papilloma virus. Risk factors for getting genital warts include, having multiple sex partners, smoking, use of oral contraceptive pills, and sexual intercourse at a very young age.
