I approached the story with a concept that would be based around the importance of friendship. I specifically designed the story to be non-linear, allowing the animation to be interchangeable between dreams and reality, with both perspectives synchronizing at the end. Disconnected is a dark story for a bright reason. The message of the story is to tell the audience how friendship can make your dreams come true. In terms of quality, i purposely made the animation a music video that would feel like a movie. The reason for this is to allow the story to give a stronger impact to the audience in terms of emotion.
