Damaris Nduku Kyalo was born on 12th March, 1973 to David Musembi and Juliana Mbithe. She attended Mua Farm Primary School and did her KCPE in 1989, proceeded to Mua Girls Secondary School (then Mua Hils), and did KCSE in 1993. She completed her tertiary education at Century Park College, and graduated with a Diploma in 2014. She has been teaching since 2012. In 2019, she attained a Certificate in Information Technology. In her formative years, Damaris was member and a cadatte at AIC Kaseve. She later got married to David Kyalo and joined Catholic church, learned Catholic doctrines through Catechism classes and started receiving Holy Communion, later on confirmed, and given the name Agatha. She was joined in Holy Matrimony on 15 th April 2000. She was a member of CWA. Damaris was a loving mother and wife, a friend, a teacher, a farmer, a business woman and a prayerful woman. She has left behind a husband, five children and three grandchidren. We will forever cherish the memories, in our hearts she lives on. Children: John Mwalavu Kyalo, Bridget Mbithe Kyalo, Perpetua Mukonyo Kyalo, Gregory Musembi Kyalo and Innocent Mwendwa Kyalo. Grandchidren: Favour Nduku, Harvey Maina, Caspian Kyalo. On 8th November, 2024, Damaris visited hospital for treatment after a persistent cough. She had briefly lost consciousness that morning, and therefore comprehensive tests were carried out to determine if/any unknown underlying health issues, which revealed a severe heart condition. She succumbed that evening to the illness.
