In this video, we'll show you how to adjust the antiskating setting on a Dual CS-series turntable. 1. Typically, the antiskating setting matches the tracking force of the cartridge. 2. Check the tracking force setting on the turntable or watch our video on how to set the tracking force. 3. Turn the antiskating dial on the tonearm base to the desired setting. For Ortofon 2M Red and Blue cartridges, a value of 1.8 – 2.0 is recommended. 4. Sharper stylus cuts, like Shibata style, may require a higher antiskating setting. 5. Note: Measuring antiskating force with a grooveless record doesn't work. Antiskating forces within the groove differ from those when a diamond scratches on the vinyl surface. This effect is more pronounced with sharp cuts, where the tip cuts into the vinyl, unlike the friction inside the groove. 🔗 Additional Resources: Video How to set the tracking force: • How to balance the tonearm and set the Tra... ➡️ Our Website: [www.dual.de] ➡️ Instagram Channel: [www.instagram.com/dualturntablesofficial] ➡️ Facebook Channel: [www.facebook.com/dualturntablesofficial] 🔔 Don't forget to subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications to not miss any new videos! 📧 Business inquiries: [email protected] 📷 Image Credit: Video material created by Dual Deutschland GmbH, Fuchstal and Edinger Communications GmbH 📝 Copyright Notice: All rights reserved.
