Paul Browett became a Celebrant following a background in business management and public speaking - so becoming a Celebrant was a natural step for Paul, as he had always worked closely with others, to motivate and inspire people, to celebrate their achievements, and hosting celebration events and awards ceremonies. Paul believes that a ceremony shouldn’t be the dull part that people sit through before the party, and guarantees that his ceremonies are where the FUN BEGINS! Mary Docherty worked as an optometrist for almost 30 years before changing her life’s path to do something which she felt was more her, and which came from the heart. She loves people, and as an optometrist was always fascinated by people’s stories, so being part of the defining moments in people’s lives is something she considers to be an honour.
